Hello to all:

I am a native Utahan, born and raised here. I was fortunate enough to have spent 13 years in the east, Washington, DC and Virginia, where I did my medical training and loved it. Returned home to Utah once again to be with family and raise our children as I believe family comes first.

Myself, I like to golf, target shoot, occasionally a little fishing, a little hunting, hiking, lots of walks and talks, reading and learning new things. Enjoy musicals, romantic movies and theatre (occasionally). Have not traveled much because was I was a workaholic in the healthcare industry for 44 years. Therefore, would like to begin this new life and all these new adventures and share them with a companion while holding hands. I am a romantic at heart.

I have come to the conclusion in my 71 years that the only sure thing in life is change. That change is inevitable, it is how we grow. Patience is a virtue. Listening is more important than talking. Also that when you rest you rust.

I am LDS and attend frequently. Love the gospel but at times not the culture so much. I am very nonjudgmental.

Begin with an informal quiet lunch to meet and see if there is a mutual interest. This then be followed by perhaps a walk. Next dinner. See, I am a bit old fashioned and like to take things such as finding a new best friend and eventually a companion slowly.

Not a single human being is perfect. Hence I am not expecting perfection. The past is water under the bridge but the present and future are most important and how to live in them. I am expecting to find an imperfect companion just as I am. One who is striving to do and become the best that she can become and be satisfied with that. I would prefer she be gregarious, optimistic, inquisitive, adventurous, who will always put family first. I want a very down to earth domestically inclined woman, yet takes pride in her appearance, be it casual, formal or somewhere in between (love manicured fingers and toes). I would like a companion who knows how to communicate, compromise, is a hugger and cuddlier and likes be be shown affection and is spontaneous. I want her to realize that are lives together is what is most important, yet she is independent and thinks for herself and purses her own interests, even if that means being away at times. Someone that enjoys the outdoors as well as the indoors and is not afraid of a little dirt. Likes a clean home yet warm, livable and inviting. One that likes to hold hands in public, likes doors opened for her and her chair pulled out for her at restaurants.
