I love the gospel of Christ and how the Lord can and will direct my life if I will let him. Service is very important for me to show that I care. I know the Lord loves me I have felt his love in my life. I read the scriptures daily it helps me set my tone for the day. I like to listen to conference talks as I drive. What do you do each day to build your relationship with the Lord? Get Started!
What I do for fun...
I love the outdoors and working with my hands. Woodworking is a passion. I also enjoy day trips and driving down a road that I have never been on before. Is there anyone out there that would like to learn how to turn a bowl or learn how build something. I know there are ladies that like this kind of stuff I talk to them about their projects at my job. When I say I like the outdoors this includes camping hiking or just sitting by a camp fire talking. Card games are fun and so are a lot of board game. I think it is very fun for two couples to get together and have a game night. I don’t much care for big group game things. I go on a four mile hike with my daughter almost every week, it would be nice find someone that would enjoy going on a hike on a regular basis. My daughter this morning told me good luck finding someone with your kind of energy. I think that it is possible. I like day trips, weekend trips, explore antique shops where I my find one. Ask me about long trips. I enjoy dancing I’m not as good as I use to be but I still enjoy it. Anyone like to go dancing. Get Started!
A little about me...
The best marriages are friends so lets be friends and date. When I was little my dad like to move us around a lot or I learned that my brothers are my best friends because I could count on them to be there. I grow up in the Utah County area. We spent our summers exploring places around us. We knew that we would someday find a secret cave with a lost gold treasure. This is how I grew to love exploring. I’m not looking that lost gold treasure now just a different place or a place of beauty. Who knows what you may find. I have found quaint little towns that were fun to discover. Hiking is more than just a way to get some exercise you can have great conversations as you hike. You can hike to explore.
I am retired from being a land surveyor well kind of. I work a part time job in a work working store. Where else can you get paid to talk about one of your passions. As a part of my job I teach classes in turning a wooden pen, or bowls. I developed a class in teaching segmented bowl. If you don’t know what those are look at my pictures I have a couple of pictures of bowls I have made.
I moved to the Phoenix area 31 years ago I have mixes feeling about living here but this is where I am settled for now so I make the best of what I have.
