I love the mountains, campfires, fishing. quiet talks, good movies, the Book of Mormon, other good books, fun or teaching the gospel, family is very important to me. They are friends as well as family. I am looking into doing Temple service. I love going to the Temple.I am active in the church. I have 1 daughter, 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 3 g-granddaughters.I look younger than my years and I sure act it and feel youger too. My heart & mind are still 40ish. I like gardening (flowers), reading, movies most music (Not rap) I am NOT a fashion nut. I am jeans & T-shirts except when I need to dress up, then I can do that too. I like gatherings where there is laughter and games and good times just sharing each others company. It can 20 people or 2, it is connecting and enjoying the company that matters. I love animals, I have had pets all my life, they are great
companions. I now have 2 cats that I have rescued. I have had many dogs in the past. I enjoy going out to eat simple, cheap places are just fine or an occasional classy place for special reasons is nice too. I'm easy to please. I just want the man to be truthful in all things, honor his priesthood and be aware that my goal is a Eternal Celestial Partner. I am not looking for a "travel companion or pen pal". but of course all good relationships start out as fun, well connected friendships that can grow to being best friends and sweethearts. Best friends can share anything & still be OK with each other. I would love to be able to serve in the Temple with my companion, it would be beautiful.( I will NOT consider any marriage outside the Temple, just making that clear if we were to get to that point.) Two years ago I fell down 5 stairs into a steel door and basically distroyed my right shoulder. Drs. trying to repair and Phy. Therapy. No good! As a result I serious limitations of my right arm and shoulder. BUT, I work around it the best I can, I do NOT look for pity, just help with what I simply cannot find a way to do on my own. I see this as 1 of the trials God gave to me so I can learn and become a better person. We all have our struggles, this just happens to be one of mine. Did I mention I love old cars, love to go see them on display, when I was younger and cars were simpler, I used to do some of the simple work on my own cars.
I have been married 2 times. I was foolish and allowed myself to be mislead both times. Now I fully intend to have the Lord involved in the process, and of course talks with our Bishops, and nothing done in a rush or implusivly. (like I did the last time, it lasted for 3 months & I knew I had made a big mistake,) thankfully it was not a Sealing, so it was simple for me to correcxt that mistake. So please be patient is I am cautious and careful, as I feel that is what the Spirit is guiding me to do.I am open and up front with my life so if you have a question, please ask and I would hope you would have the same attitude. Openness and honesty is very important in a good relationship of any kind.
