I'm extremely romantic and looking for an eternal relationship with an eternal friend. I enjoy expressing love in many ways: hand-made cards, cuddles and kisses, surprises . . . like a picnic, sharing interests as well as sharing work, hidden love notes, etc., etc. However, I think the most important part of me is my deep faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I want to share this faith and desire for the Atonement to have full sway in my life with someone who has the same desires. I am not perfect and I am not looking for perfection in someone else. I do not want to be put on a pedestal, nor do I want to put someone on a pedestal. I'm looking for someone, who will see me and who will allow me to see him. I like to learn new things and try new things. I enjoy traveling . . . will this pandemic ever end? The things I miss most during the pandemic are hugs and going to the temple. I like long, meaningful conversations about . . . anything. While I am very serious about my faith and fulfilling my mission in this life, I have also been known to be overcome by the giggles at a funny situation. I want what you want . . . a loving companion who will walk beside me, hand-in-hand, as equal partners.

My goal in life is to be the best me that I can be. Of course, I would prefer to work on that goal with an eternal companion by my side to help, support, and cheer me on . . . while I do the same for him. However, whether alone or with a spouse, I strive to overcome my faults and mistakes . . . always with my eyes on the Savior, because I know I can't perfect myself. I believe it is not the mistakes we make that determine whether we fail or succeed in life, but, rather, it is the choices we make AFTER making mistakes that make the difference. I seek the Lord's help to understand why I make mistakes so I do not make them again. You've probably heard this: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I realized, years ago, that if I want different results, I must do something different. So when I find myself getting frustrated over something that is not falling into place or working out, for whatever reason, I tell myself to stop, take a step back, and consider what else I can do because this, whatever this is, is not working. Because of this, I can honestly say that I am not the same person I was when I was twenty-something and made some mistakes; I am not the person I was 15 years ago; I am not the person I was eight years ago when I moved to Ogden; and I am not the person I was one year ago when the pandemic began. I'm not perfect, but thanks to my Father in Heaven, I am a better version of myself, and I hope to be a better version next year than I am now.
