I love the outdoors. I’m a mail carrier so I work outside everyday and do most of my playing outdoors too. Would love to find someone that enjoys it like I do. I’m active in my ward and I hold a current temple recommend. I’ve been divorced for almost 7 years.
I’m a very logical thinker before getting emotional about most things. I think I get that from my dad. I’m a problem solver, and not afraid of tearing something apart to try and fix it. I’ve remodeled my homes and did the majority of the work myself. I’ve been changing the brakes on my mail cars for years because I go through two sets a year and I’ll even help my coworkers with theirs too. Would love someone to do these kind of things with together.
I love to build things like I’ve built sheds, several greenhouses, a fort, chicken coop etc. I designed all the flower gardens on my property so that there’s always something blooming in every season. My next project is a workshop, food storage area, garage and game room. It will take me a while to do these because I only go as fast as the dollars tell me I can go!
My favorite things to do are hunt, fish, spend time with my grandchildren, garden, and be in the mountains.
I archery elk hunt so I shoot my bow almost daily. Looking forward to the day when I shoot my first bull. I’ll confess I have missed a wide open shot, no one likes to admit that but it’s one of the reasons I just put a tree stand up in my back yard.
UPDATE: I guess all that practice paid off I shot a big 5x5 on the second day of archery season. I bugled him in from a couple hundred yards and made a 13 yard shot. I missed a cougar last week. I was just a little unnerved wasn’t expecting to see a cat while deer hunting. 😳
