Hi there! I am a recent widow - like many of us here, things may not have turned out as we planned, yet I firmly believe that with a positive attitude and faithful outlook - our path can still lead to the right destination.
Speaking of paths, my stepchildren are all grown now - spread far and wide and several have families of their own. I keep in touch online with my family in Australia and also in this hemisphere former stepchildren whom I love dearly and consider myself blessed to have been able to have been included in their families.
Family can indeed be comprised of all forms and sizes - I had one biological child, and eight step-children - now I have only canine companionship - they may be great company but are somewhat lacking in conversation skills.
I am not particularly materialistic, believe in provident and debt free living, (or at least minimally so, as is necessary and practical) loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and looking forward to the next chapter that life has in store.
Temple marriage and sealing is a high priority to me - hopefully to you also.
Born, raised and converted to the Church in Australia, I moved to the U.S. in 1997. Time flies!
Aside from being a self-confessed geek - both recreationally and professionally, I also enjoy dancing, (He can only guide us when we move our feet!) Live theatre, movies, volunteering.
