I Would Describe Myself As
I love to enjoy the outdoors but can spend a cloudy day indoors enjoying a book, movie or music. When camping, i need a spot close to water and in the trees. I like to cook but not the cleanup unless someone wants to share the task. I like my alone time but love to have friends over for food, laughs, and games. I have a convertible, ATV, raft and pickup. I enjoy them all. I would rather see a sporting event live than on the TV. I love theater, movies and concerts. I prefer being early rather than late. I was raised on a farm so I am not squimish. I am a veteran and retired from the federal service in 2015. I enjoy puttering around my home and yard. I am also a gadget fan. In fact i just finished replacing my outlets and switches to Alexa compatible devices.
I don't tolerate liers, cheaters, or fakers. I like someone who can laugh at themselves. Also someone who is not judgmental. That is Gods job not mine. I know we all can be that way on occasion, but it is how we react to those judgements that is important. I hold a Temple recommend and I try to live by those covenants I made but am no way close to perfect. I have a variety of friends that are not LDS but we still have each other's backs. I would like to meet someone who shares the same values I do. I feel it is important to have common interests but if there are interests that we don't have in common that is okay too. I would hope that we can still be supportive of those interests also. Family is important to me and spending time with them is a must. I would like a partner who enjoys the holidays. (I still dress up for Halloween.) I would like a partner who enjoys traveling, whether it is nationally or globally. I love animals and so my partner would need to also. I would like a partner who cares about their appearance. That does not mean they need to have a body like the Rock (but please don't be jealous if i have to get my Rock fix every now and then). I am looking for my best friend in a partner. I would like to marry eventually but I am not in a hurry.
