WHO I AM:
I am a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who has spent many years serving others through a variety of leadership positions. I consider myself to be a kind, gentle, loving, non-judgmental person. I love deeply and consider myself to be very romantic. Although you wouldn’t know it to speak to me, I grew up in the deep South and tend to be a touchy, feely kind of person. I’m a hugger! Although humor is somewhat subjective, I think I’m kind of funny at times. I love new experiences and adventures, but I can also be content with cuddling on the coach, watching a good movie or just spending time together. I love all kinds of water sports. I’m also a fan of “live” theater and
have been known to travel to other cities to take in a favorite play (Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, etc.). I really like Broadway musicals. I do enjoy travel and have been able to attend sessions in 36 different temples in my wonderings. Temple attendance is very important to me. I am recently widowed after many years of marriage and find the prospects of dating again to be a bit intimidating. I would love to find someone who can take my hand (remember…I’m a hugger) and guide me through the steps – or at least have patience with me while I figure it out myself. Family is most
important to me.
LDS SINGLES I’D LIKE TO MEET:
I would like to meet someone who is kind, loving and gentle, with a playful side. Someone who values people over things. Since I can be a bit introverted at times, I’d like to find someone who can help me find balance. Since I enjoy travelling, I’d like someone who doesn’t mind exploring new places with me. I’m a bit of a history buff and love travelling to places of historical and cultural significance. With the Church being an important part of my life, I’d like to find someone who places equal importance on it. Several years ago, I was able to serve as an ordinance worker in the Mesa AZ temple and would like to serve again in the future. Maybe serving a temple mission after I retire.
THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS:
The Church is the cornerstone of my existence. I couldn’t imagine life without it. The Gospel and its teachings have sustained me through many difficult times. I have been able to visit a grove of trees we consider sacred and a jail called Liberty. I have walked the length of Parley Street to the shores of the
Mississippi and followed in the footsteps of prophets and apostles. I have ministered to the sick and the afflicted. I have found solace in the scriptures and the counsel of priesthood leaders. In all these experiences I have found strength, which has increased my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
