I Would Describe Myself As

I’m a strong, devoted woman who has taken on many challenges, including caring for and loving my very sick husband of 43 years through his last beautiful days on earth. I’ve served in city leadership positions, local events and organizations, state legislature and am a county supervisor right now. Who knows what tomorrow brings! I won’t be easy to slow down. I love to talk and learn about all the people I work with and serve. I played the piano since I was 8 years old and even though I never got great…I took on the task of organist at church. I do fine, finally! I’m planning to serve a Single Senior Sister (SSS) mission soon. I don’t know what God will call me to do but I will valiantly and happily serve.

I have recently filled the giant void left by my eternal companion when his portion of that “one” we had become was removed. Through deliberate effort on my part and plenty of prayer, my Heavenly Father helped me to find a way.

Without the mind numbing fog lingering around, I find myself hoping and even praying that someone who loves me and loves God will want to be my friend. I’m not ready for the next step but love to share all things good. I’m freaked out about dating apps and I am not desperate but thought it might be fun to try. Maybe there is a good man out there thinking it would be fun to try it also.
