How would your friends describe me? Most of my friends would describe me as a happy and uplifting person. Throughout school, I always had a smile on my face. Once someone asked, Why are you always happy? My response was simple. I like to make other people smile by being happy. When you see somebody happy, do you smile? Having daily challenges, smiling helps me to forget myself. Smile, even if you are having a bad day or a bad week. That's my life motto. Often I am not happy, I still smile. A lot of things go wrong each and every day. As I keep getting older, my hand frequently let go of my power wheelchair while driving. A long time ago, I made a decision that I would never show my frustrations. And shine through my unique body. That is what my friends admire about me. I am a person who often reaches out to friends and family members. I tries to lift up others.

All of my life I have been speechless. From third grade up to accomplishing my associate degree, I used my nose to type on a communication board. I got this device in December before the pandemic hit. The black bar on the bottom of the device reads my eyes which allow me to control my computer. It takes me a few minutes to say what I want to say.

I love to watch sports, especially Utah Jazz and RSL. My family watches a lot of movies. I am the second oldest out of six. We are a board games family. Lastly, I absolutely love going to concerts.
