Newly divorced, despite all my efforts, after 15yrs of marriage and two children (daughter 13 & son 10). This is all very new to me so I am starting off looking for new connections and if we "click", even better!
I grew up outside the DC area in Maryland but moved to the Raleigh area in 2005. I currently work for an IT Company in RTP and own my own home, car, etc and am financially stable.
I really enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, going to the gym, and exploring new restaurants. I also like museums, attending Rock concerts, and watching Crime drama on TV. My favorite movies are those with twists in the plot that make you think. Also love to travel, have been to Malaysia, Thailand, and Argentina for work. Even lived in Scotland for 2yrs!
I've learned a lot about myself in the last year being separated and that I can only control myself and how I choose to react to situations outside of my control. I would really like to meet someone who knows how to communicate and is genuine with who they are.
