The Prodigal
I am not an easy read but I am an open book. That's not original but it certainly applies. I am not special, or in other words I am just one of. Anyone who deals with me will need an open mind.
I am a diligent, hard worker. Had my own business for a couple of decades.
I like to get out there and do things especially an extended weekend out of town. I like to go and see/
do. I was recently in a play till Covid shut it down. I am pretty fit, I run,hike, and bike. I just got a 9' one man pontoon fishing boat, still in the box.
I live in a camp trailer at my son's house but got my eye on a rental in Albion. I needed his support after the divorce of 18 months ago and 23 years ended and I just tried to do the next indicated thing.
I think my next big thing is to write.
I stand firm in what I believe and consider myself very faithful yet I know I am a sinner and a saint.
I am a dedicated family man, just ask one of my 7 children. I absolutely adore children and there is a lot of boy left in me.
I think kindness and non-judgmental are critical. We all need forgiveness and tolerance. I am prone to self condemnation one minute and pride the next. I love to love and know I am loved.
I don't look a day over 85!.?? I've lost my hair yet think I still have a certain appealing countenance. I can smile and laugh and am in the process of not taking myself so seriously and am learning to laugh at myself. I love to play catch, with anything, it's the most subtle of personal interaction.
I am hopeful and really like to see people interact whether it's at the grocery store or church.
I've a plan to go on an extended motorcycle ride with one of my sons in the very near future.
I like to dance listen to music and go to sporting events.
I am financially secure and sometimes consider myself generous. I know of the power of giving.
I have experience as a homemaker and developed those skills of cooking, laundry, cleaning, budgeting and running/supporting children.
Please don't judge the book by it's cover. Be bold open it up and take a look.
