I am a recently divorced single mom of 1 teenager. I am normally quiet in new social situations, but as I get comfortable I warm up and can be funny.
The gospel is important to me as well as regular temple attendance. I am looking for someone who also has a strong testimony. I was in a 20 year marriage with someone who pretended to love the gospel long enough to get me to marry him, then promptly became inactive the remainder of our marriage. Please don't connect with me if you're not a sincere priesthood holder with a strong testimony and are active in the Church.
As for me, I work as a school bus driver for children with special needs. I enjoy my job even though it's not glamorous. It is fun and interacting with the students is the best part of my day. I usually get summers off, unless I sign up for summer school routes. So summer travel is possible.
When I'm not working I can usually be found working as a "free uber" for my daughter and her friends. O lucky me. I also enjoy hiking and going to the beach. If you take me to a bookstore or antique shop you'll be my new best friend. I love reading and it would be nice to be able to talk about books with someone who also enjoys reading. Even if we don't enjoy the same genre.
I like animals and have a spoiled 5 pound shih tzu. I enjoy taking her for walks in the park. I do watch television in the evening, although I find lately it is just for noise, as the house is quieter than I am used to. I enjoy documentaries, reality television, comedies and dramas. I don't care for horror or war movies.
