Me describiría a mi mismo como
Hi guys! I am divorced with 2 grown and gone step kids and 4 teenagers at home. My first time around I naively chose someone with different life plans, philosophies, religions and goals. Truth is truth; that cannot be denied once learned. While this makes sense, I didn’t understand that some people are okay with terrestrial goals even when offered celestial possibilities. I’m headed to the top and looking for someone to walk that road with me.
I am fun, a bit goofy, extrovertish, mellow, friendly, employed remotely at home; that I own. I am not on the rebound, solid in who I am. I am not perfect.
I’m looking for someone with laugh lines, eyes that twinkle, mouth that speaks kind words and arms that give warm hugs.
I am honest, sometimes to a fault. I don’t play games: no silent treatment, cold shoulder, vengeance, going to bed mad, walking away or driving off. Never leave your wingman in the middle of a dogfight. I don’t need a whole lot of space but understand and am okay if you do. I don’t need you to be a movie star, super hero or comedian. (The pressure is real). Yikes!
Be clean…. Wow, that covers a lot of ground. Lol. That being said, I will add; I can’t be your mom or your sister. But I will be your best friend and partner. I need a solid priesthood holder with a firm testimony to supplement and support my own. I love the Proclamation of the Family and try to emulate its precepts.
I am a teacher by trade. I’m currently teaching Institute online to satisfy my passion. Our language is clean in our home and want to keep it that way.
I love to read, my favorite food is Indian curry, Korean, Mexican; spicy is my favorite food group. I’m more of a night person. I have a favorite blanket. Binge watching historical fiction and thrillers with a cold diet Dr Pepper is the best stay-cation. I’m not into loud angry music but love love and need all the other genres. I am affectionate but out of practice.
I don’t think I have a “type”. Well, maybe I do a little. I’m drawn to strong, simple, quiet, reflective guys who can hold their own in conversation. But, I’ve learned that my ways are not always the Lords way. He knows my needs better than anyone.
My ideal first date would be dinner out someplace where we can talk and get to know each other. Man! They give us so much room to introduce ourselves. I’m feeling like I should fill at least half of it. Whew! It’s crazy to talk about myself like this -one-sided. I’d rather talk about you. ;).
Oh, I’m not a Barbie, movie star (although I get compared to Drew Berrymore a lot), nor am I a scholar, or well-organized or driven. I’m not competitive; I’m a lover not a fighter. But I do stand my ground when it is important. I’m positive, optimistic and love Life. I love fast and am fiercely loyal. My heart has been bent but never broken. (Only because my Savior hold me together).
I’m going to let this be enough for now. I’m looking forward to getting to know you.
