I was once obese, in the grips of serious addictions and struggling against crippling depression that left me wanting to die.
Today I am no longer obese, liberated from my addictions, depression and thirsting for life despite burdens many would find deathly crippling.
The difference? Darwin was wrong, there is a God. Oh thank God!
Jesus Christ is my Lord, God and Savior and yes I am still a work in progress (painfully so) but I choose Him.
Since I believe He can do for anyone what he has done for me, your addictions, extra weight, medical issues, etc are not something I consider deal breakers. I'd like to help you and work together side by side to become the best we both can be.
I believe there is nothing the Lord can't accomplish or lead someone with a curious, kind, merciful and charitable heart to overcome given enough time.
What is the most important thing I am looking for in a woman? What matters the most to me? Your heart.

I'm a simple Christian man who loves and is seeking Jesus, His will for me in my life, and a woman committed to Him first to share it with.
I work full time, more savings than debt, do not masturbate or look at porn, hold little to no regard for tv/video games/social media/modern entertainment and generally spend what free time I do have exercising, seeking truth, with family, reading scriptures, and seeking to serve God and worship Him with other like minded individuals.
In essence, I'm trying really hard to live in but not of the world.
Some would call that stick in the mud boring! I call it liberating!

I was raised LDS and still self identify as a Mormon but I currently hold absolutely no institutional denominational affiliation at all, believe "truth is truth wherever it is found and whoever has it" and what affiliation someone else has doesn't matter nearly as much to me as the sincerity of their relationship with Jesus Christ.
As to Joseph Smith and polygamy? Polygamy nauseates me. All I ever want is one wife. I've looked into the evidence and the studied and prayerful conclusion I've reached is this:
Joseph Smith had only one wife and was faithful to her. Joseph Smith was not an adulterer, did not practice but instead fought against polygamy and was murdered by the conspiracy of those who were and did practice it who he was about to excommunicate from their society.
As to Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon and the LDS Church? The studied and prayerful conclusion I've reached is this:
The LDS Church today holds as much in common with what Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon teach as the Catholic Church had in common with the Bible and Jesus Christ in the days they were burning heretics and selling indulgences.
Joseph Smith was an actual Prophet of God and the Book of Mormon, in addition to the Bible, is indeed authentic scripture from God.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not Christ's true church for his true church are those who are true to him and is comprised of all those who hearing his voice sincerely choose to repent and come unto him regardless of what brand of Christianity they currently affiliate with LDS included.
As to Denver Snuffer, a man who was excommunicated from the LDS Church in 2013 for writing a book on their history called "Passing the Heavenly Gift", claims he has like Paul seen Jesus Christ in the flesh and been sent by Jesus Christ with a message from him for any willing to hear? In looking into the message he preaches the studied and prayerful conclusion I've reached is this this:
They are the words of Jesus Christ.

He may not have gotten everything right but he is intelligent, was firmly committed to Jesus Christ, teaches with the Spirit and I'm glad I found his books and I just wish I'd found him sooner. Wow!
