History major who enjoys a good history read while lounging on sandy shores listening to the music of waves crashing (preferably warm, but any temp works as long as you are at the beach) enjoying tortillas chips with guac and swigging down a frosty cold Diet Coke. Hopefully, the day transitions to evening at a great taco eatery with outdoor dining, underneath twinkling white lights, the waves crashing in the distance and stimulating conversation, historical in nature, with someone special as electricity fills the air around us. With any luck, laughter plays a key role throughout the evening.

I love to laugh and I think I have an above average sense of humor enjoying clever, witty, dry, sarcastic, irreverent, and subtle humor (Far Side).

I’m looking for that “perfect for me” gentleman who has intellect, brawn, humor, sense of duty to God and country, charisma, and confidence. I need a “Jack” of all trades for this “Jill” of all trades, a renaissance man.

I am diverse in my likes: Classical to alternative but mostly listen to reggae. I love attending symphonies but feel at home dressed down in shorts, t-shirts, and Birkenstocks working around the house, long car rides, farmer's markets, taco runs, etc. I prefer watching documentaries but never miss Modern Family, Arrested Development, or Seinfeld reruns.

As an empty-nester, mother of two adult men, attending college and living away from home, I am loving this phase of my life! I’m ready for new challenges and the opportunity for personal growth to do things I always wanted to do. Perhaps golf or cello lessons.

I am actively striving to live the covenants I have made as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I am seeking someone of like mind!
