I think talking about yourself is a hard thing to do. I am a generally happy person and easy to be with. I am not sad or lonely with being single but know that if I had a companion, friend and lover that I would be even happier. I like road trips, long walks, the sound of a rushing stream, a perfectly melted marshmallow over a campfire, the beauty of wild birds and mostly I love people! I have nine children and 28 grandchildren. I was married for 30 years before getting divorced. I have now been single for 20 years but didn’t date for the better half of those 20 years. I still had children at home and did not want to do the stepdad thing. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Going to church alone is not my favorite thing but I go because I know that I need to be there. I went on a mission in 2018 to Kansas. I have now been home a full two years. A mission was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and yet the most wonderful and amazing experience I’ve ever had. I put it right up there with motherhood. I learned a very important lesson while on my mission and that is that you can love everyone but you cannot live with everyone. An important thing to remember as a single woman looking for an eternal companion. I am on this site because life is getting shorter and I want to be married, have someone to call my own for these remaining years of my life. I long to have a worthy priesthood holder in my home, someone to go to the temple with, someone to hold hands with in church and mostly someone to talk about and share those things that are most important to me. My children say I am too picky but I think I’ve just been on the wrong site and I’m so hoping “THIS IS THE PLACE”. Nice play on words , don’t ya think?😄
