I am a well-traveled and educated man who is very pleasant, funny and patient. I think deeply about many issues and like to discuss them. My occupation is in higher education but I have also been a serious musician and headed for a professional career before I discovered the Church at 20 years of age, which completely changed my trajectory. Served a mission in England and graduated from BYU, Provo. I went on to study religion, history and education here on the East coast, but spent most of my life in the West, more specifically, southern California and Arizona. I’m looking for a companion to compliment my life and I hers. Personality in a partner is important to me and my happiness and so one who is cheerful and positive; spiritual but not dogmatic and understands that life in the longview is eternal as is our partnership. A good sense of humor can bring joy and a lift to life and I look for this quality in a partner. Although appearance is kind of superficial all of us have our preferences. So I’m attracted to slim pretty women, but of course that is subjective. I’m slim with a little flesh around the waist. I workout regularly and I have done so since graduate school. If I were to describe myself further I would say I’m a contemplative man, somewhat introverted, but dedicated to spreading the “Word” and uplifting those to whom I’m close. Sounds kind of stiff huh? Well I’m far from being that…I’m quite laid back and easy going for the most part. I have been married and have three grown daughters.
