I’m a father of 5, grandfather of 9 (and counting); I was married to the their mother and grandmother for 38 years until I discovered we had very different views of the last 1/3 of our lives.

I’m a cancer survivor and my plan is to be a healthy 90-year-old with more family, friends and money than I know what to do with.

Most days, I feel pretty adventuresome and would always prefer to live life continually surprised by its goodness. I like to travel, play golf with my boys, do creative and meaningful things at work, and spend time with good friends.

I’m not used to being alone this much, but am learning to accept it and even like it on some days. I’d like to meet women who have a thirst for adventure, who like surprises and find themselves feeling grateful for the things that make their life meaningful. Beyond those few things, I’m not overly focused on what attributes make up the ‘perfect’ woman for me; I’m really more focused on trying to be the ‘perfect’ man for someone else.
